Unlucky, Poor Strike Force

Unlucky. A word which most Sarawakian die hard supporters says about the match yesterday between Sarawak and Kelantan. Sarawak control most of the game and try so much but most of the try is off target. Joseph Kalang Tie and Ashri Chuchu play their role very well except few rush decision which demand more calmness from Ashri Chuchu the most.

Overall observation throughout the match sees Sarawak has great defenders and midfield but the combination of Aliredza Abbasfard and Milorad Janjus has yet disappoint supporters which come to the stadium and those watching live at home. Robert Alberts himself has realize that Sarawakian striker is the problem to the squad. Only one goal produce by Sarawak striker, Aliredza, after three match where most of the supporters sees a lost of Bobby Gonzales on their Sarawak squad has been miss so much.

Below is some statistic throughout the game.

2-1 after 120 minutes battle!

What a thrilling match has occurred just now between Sarawak and Pulau Pinang in Stadium Negeri Petrajaya, Kuching where sees the first 30 minutes Sarawak and Pulau Pinang keep on changing possession. Nothing very interesting except few through ball by P. Pinang foreign player, Lee Kil-Hoon, to their striker but the shots save by Sani Anuar Kamsani.

Great chances appears in minutes of 58 where Aliredza which replacing Akmal Rizal on minutes of 45 receive a ball from Ashri Chuchu to get a free header but it goes wide of the post. The games which have some controversial decision by referee has sent off P. Pinang side back which see he receive a second yellow after given a harsh sliding tackle.

The goal only comes in the minutes of 76 by Aliredza which starts by Hairol Mokhtar from an early cross where Milorad can't head it cleanly, the ball goes lose, and a clean finish directed to the left of the goalkeeper. Sarawak fans stunt after they expecting an early win but a set piece in the minutes of 90 headed in cleanly by Titi Buengo pass Sani Anuar Kamsani to give an extra time for supporters. Gabor Gyepes become the heroes after his shots on goal in the minutes of 99 deflected to misdirect the goalkeeper to the right side while the ball goes into the goal in the left post. Chasing FA Cup!

Malaysia FA Cup has been one of the most prestiges cup in Malaysia which sees teams compete to be the best. For Sarawak, it has been 22 years of drought where sees the only FA Cup which raise by Sarawak is on 1992. We believe all the supporters which is there has been missing that time so much to see Sarawak raise the FA Cup live in front of their eyes.

2013 has been an amazing year for Sarawak which call back the spirit of 'Ngap Sayot Era' where sees stadium is full for almost every home match. But 2014 is a different year. The expectation, the adrenaline and the spirits which has been carry from last season sure expecting more from the Bujang Senang Squad with the head coach of Robert Rene Alberts.

Squad tonight has been a toughest decision Robert Albert need to make as the playmaker of Sarawak, Muamer Salibasic, has been injured during ATM match last Saturday. Who will be in the team line up?
Will Sarawak be able to ends their 22 years droughts?

Let's pray for the best of our team.
